The Greene County Department of Development’s Economic Development Division strives to meet the needs of its business community by utilizing local, regional, state and national resources. The County works diligently with its local communities to understand a company’s opportunities and/or challenges in order to leverage local incentives and resources to address their needs. These resources include, but are not limited to finance institutions and Community Development Corporations (CDCs), local 2-year and 4-year learning institutions, local Small Business Development Centers (SBDC), the Center for Competitive Change and the Ohio Department of Development (ODOD). The Economic Development office also works with local Greene County communities to maintain a list of available local properties for prospective clients. As inquiries enter into our office and the State of Ohio, we provide the most up to date information possible so clients can make an educated decision about where they should invest and grow.
Working in conjunction with the Community Development Division, the Economic Development Division works to ensure that Greene County, Ohio is a place where businesses want to invest and grow.
