The Ohio Revised Code requires the Greene County Board of Commissioners to make appointments to various County boards and advisory committees.   

A person interested in applying for appointment to one of these boards must fill out an application in order to be considered.  An interested person should be a resident of Greene County; however, for some boards, by their nature, a person may only work in and not reside in Greene County. 

Terms for appointments to boards vary and some have limits to the number of terms one person can serve.  Some boards have specific statutory requirements which must be met in order for someone to be eligible for appointment. 

An application for appointment is available through this website and may be mailed to the Board of County Commissioners at 35 Greene Street, Xenia, Ohio 45385.
