  1. St. Brigid Holiday Bazaar

    November 4, 2017, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ St. Brigid Parish Activity Center

    It features vendors selling handmade crafts and holiday décor as well as delicious, fresh baked goods donated by parishioners. A raffle is held with holiday items and gift baskets as prizes, and a silent auction also takes place comprised of theme gift baskets which contain items donated by the St. Brigid School families. Hot lunch is served throughout the day.

  1. Selfie Scavenger Hunt - Russ Nature Reserve

    November 1, 2017 - November 30, 2017 @ Russ Nature Reserve

    Do you like a challenge? Like to solve mysteries or puzzles? Each month we will pick a different park. Greene County Parks & Trails Facebook page will provide a sheet of places and things found throughout the park. Participants must take a selfie at each place or with each thing. Download the selfies and turn in the sheet showing how many you have found. Prizes will be given for completing the scavenger hunt. Prizes can be picked up at the park office between the 5th and 25th of each month. So head out to the park with your family or friends and enjoy the hunt.

    Natures carnivores have special adaptations that make them great competitors in the game of life. Come learn how to use similar skills and tactics on the soccer field in this special skills clinic. Participants must bring a water bottle and shin guards. Pre-registration is required by October 31.

    November 4, 2017, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM @ Indian Mound Reserve- Williamson Mound Lot

    What role did Greene County play in the Underground Railroad? Feel the thrill of trying to survive as a fugitive slave on the Underground Railroad through this interactive "play" that takes you through the very woods that slaves may have traveled on in Greene County. Learn where in Greene County the railroad ran and what cities played an important role. Children must be fifth grade or older to participate. Pre-registration is required by November 1.
