SPECIAL PROGRAMS

   
CARTEENS A mandatory traffic safety education program for first time juvenile traffic offenders.
   
Job Readiness Training Program A structured program that teaches youth the importance of preparing themselves for employment.
   
Mentorship Program The Mentorship Program lends a hand in giving the youth the skills needed to succeed in education, employment and life through the life experiences of a responsible and caring adult from the Greene County community.  
   
Stop Shoplifting School The Better Business Bureau provides the Stop Shoplifting School for Greene County Juvenile Court youth.  The purpose of this class is to prevent youth charged with Theft from becoming repeat offenders.
   
Strengthening Families Program The Strengthening Families Program emphasizes the fact that youth do better when their parents/caregivers have two (2) basic skills:  consistent discipline and support.
   
Victim Awareness Program Focus is on helping youth to develop victim awareness and victim empathy, along with personal insight and growth.
   
Volunteer Program The Court offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for those who are willing to give of their time to help a child.
