To serve the residents, employees and elected
officials of Greene County by providing safe, clean, comfortable, energy efficient buildings
in which to conduct business; to provide safe, reliable transportation services; to provide
county offices with janitorial services and supplies, mail services and office supplies.
To accomplish these tasks in the most fiscally responsible manner possible.
County Services is responsible for maintaining and cleaning 37 buildings housing 67
Departments/Divisions as well as buildings located in the Parks under the jurisdiction
of the County Commissioners, to ensure the cleanliness, safety and wellbeing of the public
and it’s employees.
Operating under the direction of Brandon Huddleson, Director of County Services are the following:
Maintenance – responsible for installation and maintenance of HVAC systems, electrical,
plumbing, concrete work, roofing, building, remodeling of all county offices/buildings
Service Garage – responsible for maintaining approximately 227
county-owned vehicles, approximately 61
pieces of light equipment and 4 stationary generators.
Custodians - responsible for cleaning all
County buildings.
Office Supply – Orders and stocks office
and janitorial supplies used county-wide.
County Switchboard - Handles and distributes all
incoming calls to the County.
Mail Courier – In-house service for county personnel.
